Construction and execution
GRS800 type grid resistors are the main components of the GxRGS800 power groups and can be built in the following materials:
- in iron-chrome-aluminum alloy with a specific resistivity of 100 μΩ.cm and a temperature coefficient of 250 ppm/°C
- in nickel chromium 18/10 with specific resistivity with specific resistivity of 73 μΩ.cm and temperature coefficient of 900 ppm/°C
- in nickel-copper 44 (constantan) with a specific resistivity of 49 μΩ.cm and a temperature coefficient of 50 ppm/°C
Features
The power applicable to each individual grid varies slightly with the resistance value (the cut tends to reduce the useful surface) and varies from 1 kW for a single resistance to 600 W for resistors mounted in groups.
