Construction and execution
The ACS type resistance is a high quality resistance, housed in a black anodized aluminum housing, designed to obtain some uncommon features, such as a high degree of protection (IP55) and high dielectric strength. This type of resistor is suitable as an anti-condensation resistance inside electrical panels, in order to keep the temperature inside of them a few degrees higher than the ambient temperature. The ACST model uses, instead of the wound wire resistance element, PTC components as an internal resistor, in order to dissipate the supplied power and stabilize the temperature increase to a maximum 80°C (with reference to 25°C ambient temperature ).
