Wire-wound tubular resistors FW
Construction and execution
The FW pipe resistors consist of a ceramic tubular body on which a coil of resistive wire in Constantan or NiCr steel is wound and are supplied as standard with the side mounting brackets. The FW resistors can also be supplied in groups of 2 or 3 elements (starting from the FW30 version) and for models starting from FW 40 the units are also available with an optional protection grid. Other accessories, silicon resin surface and with clamps.Features
- Nominal power range: 12 W up to 3'000 W
- Standard tolerance: K (±10%) (tighter tolerances on request)
- Temperature coefficient: +40 ppm up to +80 ppm
Application fields
- Starter resistors for compressors
- Grounding resistors
- Braking resistors (also for application under inverter)
